Affordable Insurance Solutions, LLC ("we," "us," "our") is an insurance agency in Joshua, Texas, founded in 2016. Our agent is Nicole Martin, Licensed Texas Insurance Agent #2068385. Texas Agency License #2625098.

We help people with life insurance, group health, individual health, dental and vision, accident plans, and Medicare (Texas only).

This policy explains what information we collect through this website, by phone, and by text message, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us

Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, subject, your message, and whether you agree to receive text messages. Please do not include Social Security numbers or health details in the form. If you use our link to request a quote through HealthSherpa, HealthSherpa collects that information under its own privacy policy.
Phone calls and text messages: your phone number and anything you choose to tell us, such as the coverage you're looking for, who needs coverage, your ZIP code or county, or your doctors and prescriptions.
When you apply for coverage (only if you decide to apply): a carrier or enrollment platform may need more details, such as date of birth, Social Security number, Medicare number, income, or health information. We ask for this only when an application needs it.

Information collected automatically

This website is hosted by Wix. When you visit, Wix and Wix Analytics automatically collect basic technical information through cookies and similar technologies. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the time of your visit, and the site that sent you here. We do not currently use advertising pixels or third-party analytics tools on this website.

How we use your information

To answer your questions and respond to quote requests.
To compare options and prepare quotes for you.
To help you apply for coverage when you ask us to, and to service your policy afterward.
To call you or text you about your request, if you gave us your number for that.
To run and improve this website and keep it secure.
To keep the records that the law, the Texas Department of Insurance, or insurance carriers require.

We do not use your health information for marketing.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it or trade it either.

We share information only in these cases:

With insurance carriers and enrollment platforms, at your request. When you ask for a quote or want to enroll, we share the details needed with the insurance companies or enrollment platforms involved (for example, HealthSherpa for Marketplace plans).
With service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host (Wix), our business phone and texting provider (Nextiva), and HealthSherpa, which we use to manage client records and health plan enrollments. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
When required by law, for example to respond to a subpoena or a request from a regulator such as the Texas Department of Insurance, or to protect against fraud.
With your permission in any other case.

Text messages (SMS)

If you check the text message box on our form, or text us, you agree to receive informational text messages from Affordable Insurance Solutions, LLC about quotes, appointments, policy updates, and customer service.

Consent is not required to get a quote or to buy any product.

Insurance privacy laws

As an insurance agency, we are subject to federal and Texas laws that protect consumers' personal financial and health information. These include the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the Texas Department of Insurance privacy rules. We handle the information you give us in line with the laws that apply to us. Insurance carriers you apply with have their own privacy notices, and they will give you those notices directly.

Medicare

If you contact us about Medicare, we will discuss only the types of coverage you ask about, and we will not pass your information to another agent or company to contact you without your permission. Medicare help is available for Texas residents only.

Affordable Insurance Solutions, LLC and its agent are not connected with, affiliated with, or endorsed by the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. We limit access to the people who need it to help you. However, no website, phone, or text system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee security.

Please do not send your Social Security number, Medicare number, or health details through the website form, by text, or by email. Call us instead and we'll tell you the safest way to provide them.

This website links to insurance carrier websites, payment and provider search pages, enrollment platforms, and social media. Those sites are run by other companies and have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices, so please read their policies before you share information with them.

This website is meant for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. A parent or guardian should provide any information needed to get coverage for a child. If you think a child has given us information online, call us and we will delete it.

We serve Texas residents. You may ask us to:

correct information that is wrong,
delete information we no longer need, or
stop calling or texting you.

To make a request, call or text 817-522-1304. We may need to confirm your identity first. We may have to keep some records for a period of time to meet insurance laws or carrier requirements. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Effective" date at the top.
